I’m such a slacker~!

I’m such a slacker when it comes to blogging or diarying (is there such word??).  I wonder how people can diligently update their blogs almost every single day.  Do they really have so many stories to share??

I’m sure no one cares whether I write or not.. ‘cos no one is reading? ;)  It’s more like a me recording what I think I would wanna know if one day I lose my memory.

Hmm.. by the way, if anyone in Melbourne knows of any good employers that are hiring (not retrenching), please let me know (i.e if anyone is reading this…).

P3280125 Went to Eason Chan’s concert last weekend.  It was… one word… great!!! But too short!!! :(  It only went for 2 hours.  I wish it was for 4 hours.  Time flies by when you are having a great time that’s for sure.

Cookie ‘N Cream Cheesecake…. NOT!

My brother’s birthday was 2 days before mine.  So I thought I should make a cake that I could enjoy making and my siblings would enjoy eating.  The other day I purposely went to Borders to look for some great easy recipes and I found this one.  It’s super duper easy!!!  No baking needed.. just need to mix here and there and voila!  A perfect cake…… so I thought………

I started off very confidently.  First, crush the biscuits to make the base; then melt the butter; mix into the biscuit crumbs.. ok, so far so good… next, put 2 teaspoon of gelatine into a glass of 600ml water… 600ml.. ok, no problemo.. I can do that.  Then put the glass into a pot of boiling water.  Okie dokie.. easy peasy..  While waiting for the gelatine to dissolve.. Ok.. make the cheesecake mix.  Woaa.. yumm.. cream cheese and white chocolates.. ok ok.. yes! almost finish!   Wait wait.. need to pour in the gelatine mix into the creamcheese mix.  Ok..*poured half of the water into the mix* Hmm.. how come so watery?  Hmm maybe it’s meant to be *stir stir*.. hmm.. this is weird.. *at the same time poured in abit more gelatine mix*.. Hmm.. Is it supposed to be this runny?? * checked the recipe again* OMG!!!!  60ml!!!!! not 600 ml!!!!!  X_X 

Too late to spoon out the mix now *panic*. Hmm.. Oh well.. I’ll just put in 2 more teaspoons of gelatine.  Hopefully this will do the trick *pray pray*.

So.. here’s the result!!  80% happy!  Will try again next time for my nephew’s bday.

My verdict.. it’s much nicer than Wagamama QV.  To be fair, I’ve only tried Wagamama QV (other Wagamama restaurants might be good)..so I would say, instead of spending $$ at Wagamama QV, give Yugamama a try - just opened on Swanston St.  It is better for your bank balance ;)

A must try o for those who are in Melbourne.  In my humble opinion, Beard Papa is nicer than Puffy (the Cookie Puff)!!

Beard Papa’s puffs are not too sweet.  I think even guys will like them too.

One downside, it’s a bit pricey.  I suppose just try one won’t hurt the bank ;)
